My name is Lee Emsley
I am the owner and operator of Emsley's carpet cleaning.
I have been in the industry since 2011.
I started with a used £20 machine and have worked my way up to been one of the uk's highest quality carpet and upholstery cleaning technicians.
Along the way i have use just about every machine machine on the market, advanced in many training courses to owning a £25k truckmount machine and around £20k of accessories all in the quest for perfection.
It can be quite confusing trying to choose the right company or person to clean your carpets and upholstery.
You may have many questions like what machines do they use, are their cleaning products safe, do they really know what they are doing, do they have correct insurance. You could ask any cleaner these questions and they could tell the truth or they could lie about their abilities.
Carpet and upholstery is a science and requires knowledge on every fibre and fabric type, how they can be damage and the safest way to clean them.
Every cleaning product, what they do, how they can and what they can damage and the safest way to use them.
Every type of soiling and staining and the most effective way to remove them.
Without this knowledge it is just guess work and hoping for the best and the results will not be as good as they could be.
I will and do only use the top of the range products, industry leading machinery and my knowledge to bring you mind blowing results.

There are several reasons carpets should be cleaned throughout the year.
Prolongs the life of carpeting: Regular carpet cleaning using the extraction method can increase the life of carpets significantly, protecting your floor-covering investment.
Protects indoor air quality: Carpets trap airborne pollutants; however, eventually those pollutants must be removed in order to protect the carpet and maintain indoor air quality.
Makes carpets easier to maintain:
Most carpet soiling is made up of dry soils; when carpets are kept thoroughly cleaned on a regular basis, most dry soils can be removed with regular vacuuming.
Removes spots and stains: As with other soils, spots and stains can attract more soiling. Removing them promptly protects carpeting from damage.
Prevents build up of allergens and bacteria: Moist soiling of carpets can result in the build up of several unhealthy contaminants.
Enhances the appearance of any room: Clean, well-maintained carpets speak volumes about the overall cleanliness of a home or facility.
Here's a bit of interesting information about your wool carpets
Did you know that wool fibres/filaments have a protective outer lair called a cuticle, this outer lair can protect the fibre from stains. If a wool carpet is cleaned incorrectly the cuticle will be removed allowing stains to be absorbed more quickly, making them impossible to remove. Removing the cuticle will also cause yellowing of the fibre. Having a wool carpet cleaned wrong once will damage the carpet physically but maybe not visually, however on the 2nd or 3rd or even 4th clean the carpet could be damaged visually beyond repair. Cleaning a wool carpet correctly is essential to avoid this damage and protect the structure of the the fibre/s.
Upon inspection i will test wool carpets to see if they have been cleaned incorrectly in the past. If they have been cleaned incorrectly to many times i may have to refuse to clean the carpet/s to avoid been held responsible for damage that could occur if i clean them, where they are at the point of been visually damaged due to previous cleans. Remember if you have had your wool carpet/s cleaned by the same company a few times in the past then all of a sudden they look trashed, it is down to the products and method of cleaning that has caused it.
